Paul Goldsmith's 1964 Plymouth Stock Car
1964 was a great year for Plymouth Racing. Richard Petty won the Daytona 500 and went on to win the first of seven national championships in his now famous Petty blue Belvedere. However, it was not Petty, but Paul Goldsmith who set a new Daytona speed record in his bright red Belvedere clocking 174.911 mph winning the pole in the 1964 Daytona 500.
This limited reissue from Model King is basically the Nascar Racing version of the Lindberg 1964 Plymouth. Last released as the Petty Car, this kit is essential for any vintage Nascar builder. Molded in white, with all the authentic Nascar parts, this Model King Special issue was limited to 3000 pieces. Model King tells us the decal sheet is colorful and 'robust' offering opportunities to build several different cars. Pre-orders are welcome now. Complete ordering information is available now in our Coming Soon Gallery
